Lake Pat Cleburne
Results

XXXTemperatures above normal met anglers ounce again for the Cleburne Tournament. Afternoon tournaments reached 105 degrees.
XXXTwelve members, one guest and one youth fished the event. On Saturday 9 fish were weighed with an average weight 2.26 pounds. Sunday 8 fish were weighed with an average weight of 1.87 pounds.
XXX The winners were, first E. A. Merrill with 5 fish that weighed 11.40 lbs.  Second place was James Fritz with 3 fish weighing 6.69 lbs.  Third place was Barry Merrill with 1 fish weighing 4.99 lbs. and fourth place was Jimmy Thurman with 3 fish weighing 4.83 lbs. Barry Merrill's one fish was also the Big Bass of the tournament.
XXXE. A. Merrill and Wesley Merrill won the Team Jackpot with 6 fish weighing 12.89 lbs.  The winners of the Blind Draw Jackpot were E. A. Merrill and Ira Wooten with 7 fish with a combined weight of 15.63 lbs.
XXXDianne Fritz won the Ladies Division with 1 fish weighing 2.68 pounds.
XXXOne youth fished but was unable to weigh a fish.

 

 

Lake Proctor
Site for September

XXXThe September club tournament to be held on September 11th and 12th has been voted to be on lake Proctor.  Weigh-in will be at Dam boat ramp parking lot located on the East side (Sowell Creek) of the lake. Fishing time is set for 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Length limits are: Largemouth Bass = 16 1/4" length limit, Spotted bass = no length limit.

XXXSeptember 14: Ducks Unlimited Banquet to be held At Agave at the City Limits Club. SBC has purchase a table for eight. Those interested in attending may contact Randy Smith or Eddie Fondon.
XXXSeptember 23: Senior Citizen Centers Grandparents Day Fish Fry. Meal preparation will start around 4:30 PM behind the Senior Citizen Center.
XXXSeptember 25: The 36th Annual 4-H Awards Banquet to be held at the Texas Agri-Life Center on Hwy 281 N. SBC has donated $250.00 to the event which has earned them a few spaces at the meal. If you are interested in attending contact Randy Smith or Jerry Land.
XXXSeptember 26: Girl Scouts Fishing Trip. More information to follow next month.
